Finally we got to see Audition Ph in its finest [so far, that is], the latest and biggest patch e-Games ever had for this game was finally launched this morning, and as expected, we got loads of new stuff and changes in the game:

Minor Changes:

Although these are only minute, I’d still add these so that people may appreciate the game more than leaving them unnoticed. XD

Notice that when you hover your arrow at the buildings, there were no description unlike before.

The buttons at the Audition Ranking section have also changed.

New Modes:

Wedding Party

As they announced, this new mode is one of the major updates in the Next Showdown Patch. For details with regards to this new mode and how to, feel free to read my guide.

Game Changes:

Send Kiss Feature

If you have a registered couple and plan to take your online relationship to another level by getting married in-game, this tiny button can boost your “love” in just five days! Once you check your couple information, you’ll see a new button below the view profile information button. It will give you a chance to send your couple partner a kiss, and you are one step forward in getting married once you have those five kisses done. You and your partner have to be online at the same channel and lobby though to send a kiss. Once sent, you’ll notice one of the hearts get filled up. You can only send one kiss a day, though. Complete the five blank hearts, and there you go!

Beat Up Mode

Although BU players were disappointed with the absence of new songs, there were still some changes that could either excite or challenge them [or both?], like:

• Beat Up 4 Direction

 

 

The gameplay’s the same with the normal one, only that the left and right arrows are removed. Yeah, it would seem less difficult at the first sight, but if you’re not used in missing arrows in the usual beat up [like me], you may find BU4 a bit hard. But with constant practice, I think playing this mode will be just fine and enjoyable as its brother. XD

• Red Chance Feature

 

With a normal beat up, you can only turn the chance mode on before the finish move. But now, you can chance as soon as the game starts. For chance veterans, this is a big advantage, as playing with it boosts one’s score and chances of winning a game as well.

• Blue Beat Up!

From orange…

…to blue!

This is another new bonus added to BU mode. There’ll now be two kinds of beat up activation – the orange and blue. Originally, you’ll enter the beat up status when you reach 100 combos. But now as you play along and reach the point wherein you gain 400 combos, the beat up icon will turn from orange to blue. This indicates that you’ve entered the blue beat up status. The difference? You’ll get a higher score than the normal or the orange BU icon!

Game Screen Full Toggle

We were first thankful for having the game screen toggle at the end of every game, but now we can double our appreciation with this new feature. Now, you can toggle the game results screen whole when you press the escape button twice to view your character as the game finishes. It’s quite neat if you want to take a screenshot of your character when winning a big game or two. ^^

One Two Party Mode

Good news for beginners! If you thought One-Two Parties are too much for you, with this patch, learning how to play the game will be easier! Players can now play in either easy or hard difficulty, and with the former, there were a few extras added [like button illustration and shorter arrows to remember] to ease your way till the end. In addition, notice that your character will still dance even if you miss a step. So much for the “kamot moments”. XD

I want to say a few lines in some of the items here. You’ll see a new item added: the wedding ticket. This item is one of the requirements for the Wedding Party mode. Notice too that the price for the Change Nickname has been lowered too. Although this may be beneficial for some players, other abusers, like botters, may take this opportunity to the disadvantage of others who play fairly. And in line with the patch launching, e-Games took a 50% discount off the DEN and EXP cards; that makes a perfect chance for those who have eyes for the new fashion items to save as much as they can.

Pets:

This is another of the new features added in this patch. As I have said in the patch preview, these animals can help in either leveling or saving den. For now, we can choose between two pets:

 

The Golden Retriever can be used to earn exp bonuses, while the Korean Short-haired Cat can boost your den earnings for every game. You can buy them for at least 100EP and enjoy playing for one month with them. Unfortunately, these pets can’t be bought indefinitely, so make sure you make good use of them while they’re still with you!

That’s it for the fashion mall items. Whew!

Songs:

As they have announced, they added forty-eight new songs in the database. Most of them are quite known for the old Audition SEA players, so they may find this change a bit nostalgic [remember they had their song collection wiped out a few months ago]. It’s quite disappointing to find out that there weren’t any new songs added for Beat Up and One-Two Party modes, but I’d still commend e-Games for adding more than they can in this update.

Although they have announced that they’ll add this feature in this patch, it seems that they’ll put this in another update. GM Psybot said that they’ll move this in the next patch instead.

Okay we’ve seen a different welcome screen upon our first log in, but where’s the competition server?

I also asked GM Psybot about this one, he said they’ll put up the competition server before the next patch releases.

Whew! To tell the truth this is the longest post I’ve ever made… and I really hope this patch update will somehow be read and appreciated. I’ll continue updating my Wedding Patch Guide for changes and errors [if there'll be any]. Oh yeah, this guide won’t be complete if it weren’t for the following people. Thanks a lot guys!
